You will probably need to note the Quarter of birth. If you know the mothers name you could use that as a reference point if it would help. |

When applying for a 1963 birth certificate online from the GRO office is it absolutely necessary to fill out the required fields*? I know someone who has been given what she thought was correct information and applied for a birth certificate in the first name and dob given... however, GRO said they cannot issue a certificate as the first names and dob's don't match. My question is ...can a certificate be issued with just the surname and GRO references from the index. Cheers Gerry |
