Genealogy Chat

What is going on on Tips at the mo! I have been away for a few weeks (problems with Computer). All I have seen so far is people having a go at each other. I dont know what has happened, but it seems that some of the tipsters have left for what ever reason. ( I know I am missing them already and the invaluable help they have given me in the past not that many others still on here havent given me valuable help as well). I am sure that this is not what this board should be used for. Can't we all just try to get on and help each other in Genealogy, which is what this site is all about!!!! Claire

Reggie, Yes that was the point that I had made on the original thread. Not 'all' helpers had gone and there where many members still doing lookups etc. I was actually quite annoyed with the original thread. Maureen

I think the thread may have been deleted as it was inaccurate. ALL the helpers most certainly have not gone elsewhere. A number of the well-known ones are no longer with GR. Reg

Just wondering if I killed the thread. Shortly after I posted on it this afternoon it vanished. Perhaps the thread originator did not like my reply on it. Maureen

I didn't see the thread, but there are still some people around on here willing / able to help on the tips and records boards. MM

earlier today someone posted a message about all our helpers on the tips board saying that they'd vanished. some suggested GR may have banned them. have just tried to look for thread to see if anyone had found our missing tipsters and now the thread has vanished too does anyone know if they have turned up yet Stacy
