Hi Maria, I am not too sure to be honest if they would go back that far. I know they definatly would include both world wars. you could always give them a ring. If anything i think medals that far back may have been sent to the war museum, in kew gardens in london. but i may be wrong so don't take my word for gospel. julie

Dear Julie Just noticed your thread. Sorry to be thick but what information is available from these organisations? Can they give info about medals won years ago etc? I am trying to trace my GGG Grandfather's Crimean medal and from the Crimean medal roll it says WO next to his name suggesting that his medal was give out via the War Office. Would they be able to tell me if the medal went out to his next of kin and address etc.? Many thanks Maria
