Does anyone have a description of 'bad money' please? In 1880 my great grandmother was 'in police care for tryig to pass bad money' at a shop. No wonder my mum would never talk about that side of her family!! Thanks Jo |

Thanks Bernie, I assumed that ws the case, but wanted a bit of confirmation. I think its quite interesting 'bout my g-gran. If she hadn't been 'in police care' I wouldn't have the transcripts giving an insight into her life. My mum would have been gutted if she'd known though! What are you doing up at this time, I thought it was past bedtime over there? Best wishes Jo |
