Victoria Report 12 Sep 2006 21:05

I'm unable to locate a death registration for a Douglas MOORE who was in the Britsh air force in World War II. He died from pneumonia in Broseley, Shropshire, while at home on leave. The date of death is believed to be 05 Jan. 1944. I have tried looking through numerous quarters in the BMD Death Indexes, with no success. Nor can I find his death in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's records. Douglas was born in Broseley on 21 Jun. 1909. His mother's maiden name was HUGHES. The dates I have given for his birth and death are from overseas family records. No original certificates have survived. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy
