Give us all the details - who are you looking for, when were they born, what was the father's name on the birth certificate, what was the mothers full name? Sam x |

hi sam my grandad was adopted. my aunt sent me a copy of his birth cert which said his mother was married. this was in 1898. can't find any trace of a marriage and she has been found on 1901 census under maiden name!! regards michelle |

hi all is there a point when you find a potential lie on a certificate and just have to give up? ... or is there always a way? thanks michelle |
