my grandfather was married before he married my grandmother he is frederick scott b:1908 kent his 1st wife as far as i know is Rose masters they married in 1929 in kent what i want to know is there any way of finding out if they had any children he finally married my grandmother in 1940 in kent Thanks Dawn

Have you got Ancestry? After 1911 or could be 1912 the maiden name of the mother is shown along side the birth entry. Look for children with the surname of Scott with the mothers maiden name against them. Bit of a long trawl through the images. Maureen

The only way is to plough through the births on the registers avaiable free on Ancestry, I have done it before it is a bit tedious but it shouldn´t take that long. Good luck Marian
