Where do I go to find rellies that went to South Africa. All I know was the surname Pardoe (Mr and Mrs) no first names. They cruelly left one child Thomas with a grandparent and went off to S.Africa never to be heard of again. The poor boy ended up in an orphanage. The story has a reasonably happy ending, He married a girl Margaret Louis (lewis) from Wales. Whether he lived happily ever after is another matter. I would like to try to find out about his parents. Welcome any advice on where to start. Maggie |
