How do I find an old school friend?

Wouldn't the school itself have some record? Even after she had left the school there may still have been correspondence - for instance if an employer was seeking a reference. Some schools have school magazines so if you contact whoever publishes that you may get a start. Even if you don't trace Louishia, you should be trying to trace her family and any friends you know of. I know it's morbid, but I guess you should also check death records to save yourself wasted effort. |

It's very likely that she married and therefore changed her surname. Perhaps she even married twice. Can you think of any other schoolfriends - or just people who were there at the same time - who might know what happened to her? When and where did you last know of her whereabouts? |

Unfortunately you haven't given any idea of the age of this person I have checked marriages from 1984 to date and nothing showing. Also had a look at the Electoral Roll and nothing there either. |

I would love to get in touch with an old school friend Luishia Norton. I have looked on friends reunited and no luck. An ad in a national newspaper is all I can think of. Has anyone have any other ideas? She would have been born 1972/73 was living in Waltham Abbey, Essex ,then last known in Harlow Essex. Think she married about 10 years ago my daugter was bridesmaid to her in London and I remember going to the Strand Hotel for the reception after. But we have moved house twice since then and some how lost touch we have been friends since infants school. Regards Julie |
