I have an Elizabeth Robinson nee Stattard born in Gibraltar. So far I only have her pinned down in her son's birth cert - Alfred Robinson born 29th April 1878, Spittlegate, Grantham. How can I find out more about my ancestry in Gibraltar? Stattard doesn't sound Spanish so does this make an army connection likely as someone suggested??? Thanks. |

Only have her as part of the wider Robinson family in 1881: William Robinson Head Male 45 Warrington, Iron moulder Elizabeth Robinson (nee Stattard) 41 Gibraltar & rest of family listed below. Family are living in 1881 in 10 Wyles Buildings, Spittlegate, Grantham, Lincoln. Haven't located anything earlier. |
