Hi I am not really, just wanted to find the burial of my Aunts Mother her whole family come from Newport I believe ,thanks for your kind interest

that is nice of you Margaret we said we would take our Aunt over there next year she is moving up here in a few weeks and doesnt want to take too much on but if we could get a photo that would be wonderful, will let you know the details , but you enjoy yourself dont worry to much about it , Yes I feel tons better thanks only thing is have wasted all night so far on here just scrolling through the messages.

Thats great Valerie, congrats! Bet that gave you a 'lift' for the rest of the day! I 'googled' for the name of a mill where one of mine worked in mid 1800's and up came a site for a commercial vehicle company. So I plucked up the courage to phone them... and yes the mill was still there!.. I haven't visited it yet as it'll be a day trip, but hope to soon. Sue

I rang them today to enquire about where somebody could be buried I asked where to write to ,the Lady that answered said perhaps I can help , she rang me back within 10 minutes with the name of the Cemetery and what part she was in , and even offered to send me a map to show how to find it .Thats what I call over and beyond the call of duty, what a lovely lady, I think she got embarassed when I kept thanking her .If only everybody were the same .
