1881 UK Census what does 'O' mean in the marrital

'O' is an LDS abbreviation for 'Other'. My understanding is that they used it in their transcriptions when there was anything unusual for that column in the enumerator's schedule. If you give me the details, I'll look up the census image for you. |

Well I suppose that the question is self explanatory. The head of household was a women her occupation was 'Firemans Wife At Sea ' and the Marrital status column was 'O' anyone got any ideas? thanks jeremy |
