can I search for an address

I dont mind it being long winded - but how do you go about it ??

Address searches on Ancestry are only really feasible for 1881.........in other years, it can be done, but it is a rather long-winded process. Reg

As he was an innkeeper it might be worth looking at the Historical directory site to see if it lists other innkeepers or try googling the name of the pub.

one of my acestors was an Innkeeper in 1861 census but I can't find him in 1851 is there a way to find out who was at the same address without putting in a name ??
