Hi I have am a member of GR but am researching mine and my partners trees. As I only have one computer and one log-on can I create two separate family trees. I have emailled GR twice and both times they have come back to me with 'don't get your passwords mixed up'. Regards Half Pint |

Do you specifically need the trees to be kept separate? If not, you can post all the info on one........... Reg |

Hi half pint..... Just add your partner as your hubby but put 'Fred Bloggs(partner)' and make him a branch on your tree. Other than that, you will have to fork out another tenna. Unless anyone knows different????? Good luck Gerri. |

I think the best approach might be the simplest; set up your tree as if you're married to your partner. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm not sure that the site uses terminology other than 'partner', anyway. I'm not certain, but I think if you were to set up your partner's tree under a 'dummy' account, you'd then have problems making contact with people. I don't think that you can send messages to people from a free account? Not sure, might be wrong! |
