Hi Cam amyone tell me what (N N) and (B:S:) The Netherlands means please. My great great grandfather was born in Netherlands and this is how it appears on 1881 census. Many thanks Mary in Spain |

Hi I thought British Citizen at first got my c's and s's muddled - having a senile moment - what!! Sorry name is William Green on 1881 he was 44 living at 442 Rochdale Road, Manchester, Lancashire with wife Caroline and children Louis, Rosina, Eugenie and Victoria. Hi Anne But it says birthplace The Netherlands ............ I believe he was born in Holland - possibly the reason I talk and type double dutch!! Mary in Spain |
