Hi Cam amyone tell me what (N N) and (B:S:) The Netherlands means please. My great great grandfather was born in Netherlands and this is how it appears on 1881 census. Many thanks Mary in Spain

Hi I thought British Citizen at first got my c's and s's muddled - having a senile moment - what!! Sorry name is William Green on 1881 he was 44 living at 442 Rochdale Road, Manchester, Lancashire with wife Caroline and children Louis, Rosina, Eugenie and Victoria. Any help appreciated - thanks Mary in Spain

Hi Anne But it says birthplace The Netherlands ............ I believe he was born in Holland - possibly the reason I talk and type double dutch!! Mary in Spain
