I have an address for some family in Wandsworth in 1913. Is there a way to find out how long they continued to live there? Help? |

Street directories, phone books, electoral rolls, rates books etc. All of which should be in the London Metropolitan Archives and/or Surrey History Centre. nell |

Thanks for that - I never thought of electoral rolls, I suppose I could put out a call to see if some kind person might have this information. |

To clarify The FRC is the Family Records Centre. It has bmd indexes and the censuses, which belong to the Office of National Statistics. The FRC is to close, but it was a joint collaboration with the ONS and the National Archives. Electoral rolls are held at the relevant records offices. Wandsworth will be at the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) which is like Greater London Records office, and is 5 minutes walk from the FRC. nell |
