I'm in!! :) Is this it? Marriage Licence Allegations Index - Vicar-General (1694-1850): Licence Date 03 Apr 1841 Applicant: PARRY Other Party: BOON Bex Ah, sorry this one's Parry, but it's the only result I'm getting for that date. There was a Parr under Trinity House petitions, but having looked at the image it wasn't for an Aaron.

Thanks all....I'll keep checking back with you. Those are the kind of problems I have been having all day. Can you imagine my excitement when I got through, managed to bring up the info only to find I couldn't view the details.... I was beside me-self or should I say beside me-sel as my dad would say with his Derbyshire accent. LOL Cheers Margaret x

Margaret, Is the surname Parr or Johnson? Is Parr a place? I'm not very good at geography lol. Found an Aaron Johnson on the census, but the marriage allegations don't give first names of groom only surname. Is this him on the 1841? JOHNSON AARON M 20 LANCASHIRE PARR NEAR PARR BRIDGE PARR PRESCOT LANCASHIRE It won't let me see the image either though. I think you've just got to keep trying, and hope you get a window of opportunity. What a pain. Another idea would be to ask if anyone could look him up for you on Ancestry. My subscription has run out at the moment or I'd do it for you. Bex

Hi Bex,That's the right one. Thanks for checking. Guess you need a certain something on your computer to view things....Whatever it is I don't have one. LOL. You can see , I'm not too 'computer literate' as the say. Cheers, Margaret x
