Searching 'My relations' on Someone Else's Tree

Hi Martin Hope this works; go to your own tree and at the top right of the screen you'll find a drop down list of trees you are allowed to view. Select the one you need then when you see the tree you can search for the surname on the top left. Heather |

The surnames are in alphabetical order. You just keep clicking next until you get there (I think). That's what I do anyway! If they have an offline tree you could merely ask that they send you a report on the person in question and their family. Cheers, Horatia |

In a tree I have been allowed to view, there is the 'My Relations' page; on this particular tree, there are literally thousands of names! The page seems only to let the user list the next 100 names by clicking on a link, but this could take hours to get to the name 'Sawers' I want! Is there any way of searching the list of 'My Relations' in a tree? I can't see a way of doing it. |
