Hi I have just found out that one of my Nan's cousins was a S.O.E (Special Operations Executive) during the war, and worked with the French Resistance. I would love to know more about it, where he worked, what he did, what he sabotaged etc. I have been googling, but not really come up with anything, just sites telling me what a SOE was. Does anyone know if there is a specific site dedicated to SOE's, as I keep finding general war sites. He made it through the war, came back and ran a greengrocers shop in Essex. Sandra

Thanks Ernest. I'll have a look. I have read quite a lot about them, but it's all been pretty generalised. I wondered if there was a site that actually had a list of SOE's, although I realise this would be nigh on impossible to list them all. I have a vision in my head of the policeman in 'ello 'ello, with the British/French accent... Good Moaning! Sandra
