I have, in front of me, a local Council magazine. One part deals with extolling the benefits of the new, better, more balanced, school dinners. Above this is a large coloured photo of my grand-daughter, age seven. There is also a caption which is attributed to my g/daughter, saying, how good school dinners are now. What it does NOT say is that she is holding, behind her, a packed lunch because she does not have school dinners !!. If we are deceived by something as small an issue as this, imagine how much we are deceived over the really 'big' issues. Food for thought ? ( no pun intended). Mick Davie. |
