hiya, you could try www*multimap*com replace * with dots works well for me, BTW Madonna/cher parts of the workhouse are still about, even though it has been renamed, but from what i hear it is to undergo serious demolition as the remodel the hosp julie

Well, 7 miles isnt far in the terms of genealogy really is it. And as the website for the Workhouse covers both - I would have thought you were on to a good thing if thats the sort of query you have. Why not tell us what the actual query is.

hiya, in short the answer is NO!! basford registration district covers a wide area, (even parts of derbyshire), but the basford area, is about 7-10miles from each other what i meanto say is that basford be it new or old is at least 7-10 miles from selston HTH Julie

Have a google Reb. Put both places plus Nottinghamshire in a google search, it brings up lots of info, including this: Details of Basford Union Workhouse (Selston fell within Basford Union) So, yes, they must be near
