Hello I believe there is an enummerator book 93 in National archives for the 1871 census of naval personnel. I've tried to search their catalogue but seem to be going round in circles, anyone seen this item on their site? or know how to find it. regards Cynthia |

Hi It's William Thomas Shepherd (could be spelt various ways) born c1839..married. His wife is Emma with daughter Maude on 71 census living in Devonport, it says wife but he's not at home. It's possible he's been missed off by the enummerator or he could be elsewhere. Don't know where he was born, yet. Father also same name. Cynthia |
