Probably not much help but have you tried looking up JAMES instead of AMES? It could have been thought that the J was missing! Allie |

Does 1841 indicate whether he was born 'in' the County? Reg |

Hi I'm not having any luck finding the birth of Thomas AMES. He was born around 1801 in the black country region. He was living in Old Swinford / Stourbridge area, Worcs on the 1841, and was not at home on the night of the 1851 and had died by 1861. He married in Clent in 1833. Can anyone help please? Carole |
