Has anyone updated to V16 - I keep getting prompts to do it but not sure what it will do?? ................................... Sarah :-) UPDATE - see my posting on 5th September

Yes have updated, I cannot really see any difference, perhaps i'm going blind! No problems as such with it though. Keith

Thanks Keith, Without the update my websearch has been acting strangely since I got back from holiday and I wondered if the v16 patch would put it right? I wonder what it was supposed to do? especially if you can't see any difference. As it's free it's probably to correct something rather that to offer new facilites. I'll wait a bit longer though, see if I get any other feedback from people on here. Sarah :-)

hiya, am curious, which version of FTM are you using? 2006? or 2005? I am using the latter, and havent had any prompts :( Julie

hiya havent a clue hun :) like i say i'm using 2005, praps is what diffrence there is between the versions? i just checked again in updates, and it says none needed, maybe it just doesnt want them, maybe i need to upgrade, (like thats gonna happen) LOL to 2006?? But i'm quite happy with it as it is, was using version 4 for donkeys yrs, quite happy with that till i got 2005, but think i'll stick with this for now :)) what i dont have, i dont miss Julie

The latest update allowed you to add spouses and children automatically when you merged a census file, rather than having to type them all in yourself. Sue

Oh Thanks Sue! That's good to know. Although merging is a pain because you get all that Utah stuff and no census references. At least I know what it will do now, though it won't sort the websearch problem on bmds Sarah :-)
