And the Nottingham Archives :)))))))))))))) Few weeks ago I sat up till 6-30am trawling through the LDS site and managed to get back to 1764 on my Binch side I was ever so proud lol but scared in case id got the wrong people (ive done it once before when I first started in May with my Hooton side :( ) anyway off I pops today to the archives and I managed to confirm all I had found plus a bit more back to 1699 Thanx to some brilliant fantastic stars on here I now know how to trace rellies on the LDS site (theyve told me bout 100 times but its only just sunk in lol) and ive learnt that not to take it as gospel if a member has put stuff on there only if its from parish records. Ive learnt this after seeing my great grandad & nanna wrongly and also right further back saying my x 6 grandad died about 35 years before he actually did!!!!!!!!!! so im just looking at actual parish records now. Thank you everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxx |
