On a birth cert...... The name is firstly spelt Fellowes and then underneath it says Fellows ( which is the right way ) and a number say 18. Then to the far right of the cert the number is printed again and the letters WC Any idea's? Joanne |

It indicates that the Registrar has made an official correction and initialled it. The 18 means that in his book logging such corrections, this would be entry number 18. Gwyn |

The number 18 will refer to the 18th correction made in the registrations that Q at that reg office. The registrar would keep a book of corrections. Not sure about the WC (lol!)? The initials of the registrar or the superintendent registrar? merry |
