	Kris How does this work as a research tool? I wasn't aware that the Freemasons kept any records of BMDs or family etc. Do tell! My great grandfather was quite a high-up Mason, and if there is the slightest chance that he has given any info to anyone about his antecedants, then I'm on! OC

	if you go to the search facility on here any type in Masons or something like that there is a thread about researching them I will see if I can find it

Have spoken to a librarian in London and it sounds like it might prove to be VERY expensive. I would be interested to know if anyone has done this and what sort of information they got.
