Think this is Maud but it Iists Sims with only one M ? I think Seaforth is quite near ?? can't seem to see Maud any where Jeanette

Thankyou all for replying.I am looking for my Grandmother Maud Simms ,born in Liverpool,probably Litherland or Bootle,in1893,and also my grandfather on my mother's side,namely William John Henry Bishop,probab ly in Cheltenham in1884 or 1885.! am trying to get into the 1901 Census search for both of them without success.Any help on this would be appreciated.Thanks,Carolyn.

Bear in mind that registration districts cover numerous places........so the actual birthplace may be different. Try using the county as a birthplace.................. Reg

I am having some difficulty in getting into two 1901 Census searches,as every time I try to it comes up that places of birth must be civ parishes. I have tried a place of birth as lLiverpool,also Litherland and also Bootle which are parts of Liverpool and I still cannot get through to the 1901 census search records.Also tried Cheltenham as a place of birth for another relative,no joy with that either.Can anyone out there give me any advise.I would be very grateful.Carolyn
