Stepney would be included. My lot from Ratcliff - Stepney - were registered St George in the East.

St George in the East is Tower Hamlets. A whole bunch of my ancestors were born/married/died there over a few generations. It includes places like Wapping, Shadwell and Stepney I'd say. It is often listed within Surrey, instead of Middlesex, which might be what's confusing... Hope that helps.... Kat :-)
