Just found this Genuine and original Victorian legal document dated 30th September 1861, certificate of Acknowledgements of Deeds by Married Women. Refers to Elizabeth Bassett the wife of Joseph Bassett. Also mentions Alfred Foster (no other information about him). Two page printed document with handwritten details. Page two states that the premises wherein Elizabeth Bassett is interested are in the parishes of Whitwick, Swannington and Thringstone in the county of Leicester. Document sworn at Birmingham so presumably living in that area at this time. Have a look at http://cgi.ebay(.)co(.)uk/Genealogy-1861-document-Bassett-of-Leicestershire _W0QQitemZ6626049444QQihZ012QQcategoryZ4092QQcmdZViewItem to find it Elaine |

Elaine, Would you be kind enough to put a Return in that URL? It makes the page so wide, some info disappears under the adverts. Christine |
