Confused re living relatives

I thought if you ticked the box for hiding living relatives then they wouldn't show on your tree,mine is ticked but they are still there?? Confused of Darlington |

Apparently they still show up when you look at your tree, but if you give someone else access to your tree, then they don't show up for them. I think that's how it works anyway. Kath,. x |

Hi Ann I think contacts will see them on your tree as Living Surname with date and place of birth so not completely hidden. Heather |

they come up just as living with date of birth but if they click on view relations names are all there jeanette |

When I prepared my Gedcom before exporting it from PAF I did the hide living thing so that none of their information passed to GR at all. |
