Haha. Hi Janet really i dont even look at my hot matches. They only match the names most of the time and the birthplace isnt even right or the year is way off. I dont use them, i would rather search myself! haha. Steph

Janet, At least it has DOB 1826, and not abt1826 or c1826. That must make it easier for you knowing the exact year Unknown was born.

I had a hot match and guess what................IT WAS ME.....lol Also six pages of william browns,, lots of ann and martha's they should take into consideration BIRTH PLACE and not just names and dates. That should narrow it down

I don't receive 'hot matches', as I find them a complete waste of space, but I had a contact from someone who had been told via 'hot matches' of an Eliza Unknown in my tree, and wanted to know if it was the same as one in theirs...............I ask you!! Reg

Someone asked if I could tell them about our Hot Match, Mary Smith. When I asked WHICH Mary Smith they said, ''Sorry, I can't remember'' lol! Merry

hiya, to be honest, when i get my hotmatches, i go thro them one by one, the ones that dont give name/place/dob, i just put as ignore, or if it just says william brown i ignore that as well. I even check the ones that only have one match, as i have done this with the latest batch and found a connection to my direct lineage of which i knew nothing about, whooo hoooo!!!! guess who is a happy bunny then Julie

I had a Charles Bedwell as well - I wonder if he would like details of my Rose Trollope or Fanny Price.
