ive only done a - c at the moment i have lost all my excitment for hot matches i would rather just go on the message board trying to find ,that way it dosnt waste my time . I am sure this is something genes has got to look into before we all go crazy, glad im not the only one. Angela

You needn't delete them - just add an asterisk or something to the name, then they won't come up in Hot Matches (unless somebody else has had the same idea).

I'm thinking of taking John Thomas and Mary Hall out my tree as it seems there are 1000s of them ! I get the same wrong matches every time. Kim

I have some common surnames, Gray, Matthews, Williams. I regularly get lots of names with no place of birth.which I delete. Tedious. If there was a facility for matching even the right continent, let alone country or county I'd be pleased. nell

Hot Matches are offically rubbish. I got mine today too, all were either (UNKNOWN) Ann or John Allen!! 5 Pages worth!! What annoys me the most is that my main family lines are Hill, Pedley, Roberts or Webster and I haven't even got past the A's yet - at this rate I'll be one of the ancestors being 'matched' before I get to the names I really want to see as even the H's seem a long way off, never mind the W's! I did get as far as the B's once but as you say, seem to have gone back to the A's. I daren't switch them off in case one day that elusive match to a direct relative comes through. Sam x

how annoying is this been waiting longer than most for my hot matches . Finally they have arrived only to find almost every name is a mary unknown which i have in my tree as you guessed it i dont have a surname for her . What a disapointment i am so cross .
