IRELAND - how do I find someone born in Ireland 1885 ?? HELP - been to the Records Office in London today to try to find my nan, Mary Ann O'Shea. Thought she was possibly born in Ireland, but just to make sure, checked the England/Wales records and she DEF not showing up on those. Her dob is 01-03-1885; she moved to London at some point as she married my grandad, William Mathieson in Holborn in August 1921. Just 'googled' and it would appear the 1891 Irish Census does not exist, is that correct? If so, any ideas on how I could check exactly where she was born ? Would appreciate any help ...... Thanks in anticipation Janet

If you go to London again - the LDS in Kensington has all the Irish civil registration (on film, I think). Joy
