Hi i have found my Si/ydney Vincent on the 1901 census Ref: RG13/2222/59/7. There is only one Sidney Vincent born in the same place and year as 1901 on the 1891 census ref: RG12/1830/39/9. Do you think this is the same person? If you give me a minute i will put them on here. Thanks Jen |

Ozibird on the 1901 census Elizabeth is a widow. So that would show what happened to Henry. Am just checking on the others. jen |

Hi Julie yes the 1901 is a widow. I know that the 1901 census is right as it has his correct siblings. I know that it isn't his mother in law as she was called Catherine. Thanks Jen |

Ozibird i am going to order his birth cert next week when i get paid. I thought that i might be able to look a little further back though as it says on the 1901 census that his mother is called Elizabeth. Jen |

I have found the marriage between Henry and Georgenia. Her maiden name is Polwin. Just looking for a birth to see if Georgenia or Elizabeth could be a middle name. Jen |

She was called Georgina there is no middle name written down so i think i could be barking up the wrong tree. Jen |

Do you think that Elizabeth could actually be the grandma as she would of been 40 when she had one of the children! I think i am going to have to wait until i get the certificate as it looks like it is going to be like finding a needle in a hay stack. All this Vincent family has done is cause me trouble since day one of researching it. I wouldn't be surprised if Sydney went and grew up with his aunt who he called mum or something by what has happened so far with this family. Will let you know when i get the cert. Sorry for wasting your time. Jen |
