I have just tried printing off the new Beta Tree and it will only print one page, there is no option for multi page printing. The Tree I have on here is not very big and it should fit in a readable size on an A3 page. I have managed to get half the Tree on but there is a green line across the page and blank underneath it. I have tried through 'right click' & print and through 'file' and print with no luck on either. I have asked GR for an answer. Brian (i)

Hi - I also have a question about the tree programme....I wonder if anyone can help? I've ended up with the same person in my tree twice in different places. (inter-twined family!) Is there a way of getting the programme to recognise that they are actually the same person?

I agree with Margaret, the current beta tree is not the same as last weeks! It does warn you, not all your relatives will show yet, as it is still under construction ... but I can see more of mine than I could last week! (Im)patiently waiting ---

I wouldn't start using it yet - it deleted some of the names on my tree when I tried it out. They're still OK on the ordinary tree, but they've disappeared from the beta tree. It happened when I tried to use the Find in Tree function to search in my own tree.

Bingo Sylvia - that's the one I wanted (though today I am only getting the blank green page; at least I am in the right area) Sorry for taking over your thread Stella.

Hi Jim -- that isn't the beta tree I was talking about. Last week there was a different beta tree which you could access through your own homepage. It had the coloured name tiles (pink and blue) and was a lot easier to navigate. There was a few threads about it; some people could only get a blank page, while others had great access. And there was a button to click for comments to GR about the new programme.

I was just asking about the new beta tree on another thread -- what happened to the new beta tree that was there last week on our own homepage?

Thanks Jim - I'll give it a go. Stella

You should be seeing two things. On the right is a section of your tree which should be readable. On the left is a window showin g the whole tree with a box in the middle. That box tells you which bit of the tree is on the right. There are arrows on each side of the left hand box that allow you to move up, down, left or right to change the bit you can see. This shuld then appear on the right and should be readable, Jim

I have accessed the new Beta tree, getting the whole of my tree up in one go - about 80 names, but is there a way of making the names on the tree larger as at the moment it is really unreadable? Stella
