I'm currently transcribing these, and can't help but wonder how many of these children grew up not knowing their fathers due to the war, sad :(

ooh Denise you are brave! I have enough trouble with the typed scans let alone handwritten p.s my great grandmother had children in 1912 and 1913 hubby was killed in 1915.sad :( Linda
