iv only got 2 names my hubbys grandad who was born 1902 his name was john scourfield and his brother clem scourfield born 1908 is there any with the address sardis in them as this would be my hubbys family bacardi xx

People born after 1901 won't be on the 1901 census! Nothing comes up for Scourfield with Sardis as keyword. Sardis isn't a placename as far as I know. If its a road name, I can't search for it. You would need to get the father's name from the closest birth cert to 1901 - this would also give registration & subregistration district, which can be searched. nell

There doesn´t appear to be anything at all for Sardis on the 1901 - would it have been called something else? Do you know which parish it would have been included in?

I have found Sardis on Streetmap - its a place name - just north of Neyland, and north east of Milford Haven.

o dear now you got me stumped,might be st issles or east williamson or saundersfoot sardis is just a road but there chapel is also called sardis bacardi xx

Have you got John or Clem´s birth certificate ? Name of father and occupation would be helpful here otherwise we are just guessing.

probably Clem´s birth registration Births Dec 1908 Scourfield Clement Ivor Narberth 11a 1324 and possibly John´s Births Jun 1902 Scourfield John Narberth 11a 1266

iv found out johns wifes surname was phillips first name doris or dorothy bacardi x
