At the moment I have both my husband and my own family on GR. PAF and Tribal pages. For some reason my husbands tree seems to get all the contacts and I would like to seperate our tree to send gedcoms to people who are not intrested in mine. Any thoughts on how to do this, either on PAF or GR or TP. Many thanks Jeanie A.

Have managed to get Rod's file on pc but do not know how to turn it into a gedcom. Also not convinced it his full file, it is pages of pedigree charts!! Many thanks to Liz for advice but can anyone take this further. Jeanie

Hi McD, You have plenty of capacity in PAF. First Export the whole Tree as a Gedcom onto Desktop. Then start a new PAF File, give it a different name and import the Gedcom. Then go to it and delete the marriage between you and your husband. This should give you two separate trees, Export one of them to another new Paf File and you will have two separate trees plus one combined. A word of warning, they do not automatically update so anything you put in the master file will also have to be added to the appropriate split file.
