Help please, my OH's uncle was awarded the Military Medal during 2nd world war. OH would dearly love to find out exactly why - I have searched online, tried google etc but no joy yet - lots of sites describing what medal is, some list WW1 recipients but no joy for WW1 Any one got any ideas please? Thanks Helenx x x

Try the National Archives. It's amazing what turns up there. www.nationalarchives.gov.uk Jennie
