Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	I believe that passengers records from Ireland to other parts of the British Isles weren't kept, but you could try putting 'passengers lists' into the search box on The National Archives website. nell

	I'm having a bit of trouble tracing my relatives. The earliest record I have of them is their marraige in Dundee 1853. I know they were both born in Ireland from the censuses, and later immigrated to Scotland. Since I can't find them in Scotland pre-1850, I'm assuming the most likely reason being the potato famine of 1845-8 and the great wave of immigration it caused. Anyway I have no idea whereabouts in Eire they came from, and I'm guessing the logical thing to do, since I have their names and ages is to check for records of them coming into Scotland, maybe passenger lists etc. Have no idea how to start though or whether these sort of records are even available so hoping those more clued up here could be kind enough to give me some tips on where to start and how best to tackle it.
