Betty this happened with me but the images still came up in my viewed images... I ended up having to use direct download which works fine for me. I looked on the site some months ago and found this... Some users of Microsoft Internet Explorer are having problems viewing images on our website by using our ActiveX control. We are currently investigating why this might be the case. Meanwhile if you are one such customer then please switch to either the Java Viewer or the Direct Download option for accessing images. You may change your viewer type by selecting your preferred viewing method on the 'My Details' page. Remember to click 'Update Details' once you have made your choice. If you do encounter this problem, the images are still available from your 'Viewed Images' section for no extra cost. A while later I contacted Scotland people to ask them if they were still looking into the problem as I prefer to use active x and this was their reply...... Good afternoon, The active x problem appeared to start after microsoft who own active x did an automatic upgrade. As this had nothing to do with site changes we have been unable to resolve the problem as it did not originate within our settings - we obviously have no access to microsoft details. We are currently working on a new viewer option however this will have to be fully tested before going live. Regards....... Shaz |

it must be a problem on Scotlands People site. You can uninstall Java & reinstall Active x then you back to where you were . I would query then with scotlands people why you cant view the records. |

Google Java then go to the web site 'Download Java Software from Sun Microsystems. Click on the Windows Users Browser support for auto installation ,it wil then give you the download option. I,ve downloaded my Java from there & its OK you will need to restart your PC to complete the installation .It will guide you. |

I have just been informed by Scotlands People that the reason I can't view my images clearly is because I am using ActiveX. They said I should be using Java but not having much luck with download, any advice please. Betty |
