Does anyone have any information on/photographs of a building known as 'Sunderland Infirmary' in 1831? It was built in 1822, but was taken out of use between 1861 and 1897 as a new, much larger Infirmary was built in the City. I believe the building still stands, near Clanny Street, and is now maybe part of the University of Sunderland Campus. I would appreciate any help on this, as I am at a bit of a dead end.. Thanks Claire Bayley |
