It's good to know that others are having problems, I was beginning to think it was the computer being slow, almost in reverse. I too have dreadful problems, but it's getting into the genes sites, past the press to view button nothing happens. |

Kathleen Thanks so much. I had been going directly to my most often used page through my toolbar favourites, forgot there were other options!!! Lynne sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. |

I've been having problems trying to load stuff from Ancestry all afternoon .............. I think the internet is particularly slow just lately, and our broadband has almost gone to sleep! The reason I'm on this board is that I'm fed up with waiting for a page to appear! Allie x |

Hi Lynne I have a (perhaps dumb) question: where do you find a page that gives you the option for complete or partial BMD's? I don't seem able to find that option on Ancestry. Thanks |

Ann Just cleared my cookies and got in, only to get a message saying my Licence Limit has been exceeded??? Reasons given are that I am logged in on another computer - I'm not! or someone else is logged into my account - don't think so! Reggie, tried that and got in but same as above? Think I'd better do something else for a while and try again later. Lynne |

Sorry Georgina and Reggie, I didn't answer your questions. I'm not looking for a particular year or quarter, I wanted to browse through births after 1925 looking for the births of any children of my great uncle, Henry Arthur Duffy, and his wife Marion (Hickey). Lynne |

When I log in to Ancestry, on the page that lists complete BMDs and partial BMDs, I click on Births under the 'complete' heading and it just does not open. At the bottom of the screen the progress bar keeps appearing and it says opening page but it doesn't. Hope that explains my problem - LOL! The deaths and marriages under both headings all open OK. Is anyone else having trouble getting the BMD pages to open? I have been trying to get into the births for ages and the page is just blank all the time. Is it just me? Lynne |
