No, more's the pity. But if anyone finds one, please would they point him in my direction. Tina

Can I be a lusty strolling vagabond? It sounds just up my street.

Those vagabonds must have been well-fed to have the energy to be lusty!!

In Henry Fielding's 'Tom Jones', there's this line.... 'Mr. Nightingale here hath seen the officer himself, who is a very pretty gentleman, and hath told him all, and is very sorry for what he undertook, which he would never have done, had he known Mr. Jones to have been a gentleman; but he was told that he was a common strolling vagabond.'

Nooooooooo. I don't want a Common Vagabond. I want a Lusty Strolling Vagabond (well, I'm hoping he will stop strolling for a short time at least). But I wasn't planning to entertain him - I rather had it in mind that he might entertain me. Tina (peering up and down the road hopefully)

What does a lusty vagabond look like, because I wouldn't want to miss him?

I APOLOGISE WHOLEHEARTEDLY FOR WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY: If he was a vagabond waiter surely he was relying on his tips and that's why he's on this board!!! Bad I know - sorry (again) *hangs head in shame*
