At the Family Records Centre in Myddleton Street in London - all censuses for England and Wales 1841 to 1901 free to view on microfilm. At a County records office - microfim copies of 1841 to 1901 for that county only.

Go to Ancestry.co.uk and sign up for their free 14 day trial then go for it like mad. BUT REMEMBER to take down the e-mail cancellation address and the details they need like name, surname and subscription type. Otherwise give the details you want looked up on this thread and I'm sure one of us can help

At the Family Records Centre in Myddleton Street in London - all censuses for England and Wales 1841 to 1901 free to view on microfilm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can I just say that the 1901 Census isn't free to look at at the FRC, I'm here now and have just bought a £5.00 voucher and it's gone already :-(, and I haven't done all I need to do yet. 50 credits to search and 75 credits to look at the census sheet itself.
