Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	While researching earlier generations of my family, many of whom come from places I`ve never heard of - particularly in Yorkshire - I have found two web sites very useful. ` Genuki. com` will give locations of most place names in the UK - even those which no longer exist.( listed in alphabetical order by county ) If the places do still exist you can look them up on another site called ` yell.com ` which will give you a detailed mapshowing exactly where they are. These used in conjunction with one another are helpful when using Family Search to backtrack from marriages to baptisms etc because it reveals the most likely ancestors. Jeanette
