Hi there, I suggest you try the NSW State Library - they have an excellent 'Ask a Librarian' service - ('Query' form on-line). They will check their records -including electoral rolls/death notices for you. Valerie WA

The marriages on that site only go up to 1955, though. If she died in NSW before 1975 she would show up there, though. What were her parents' Christian names?

Yes, it is a bit vague. It may be worth putting a request on the Trying to Find board. What are Pamela's two surnames? Is one her maiden name and one her first married name?

Thank You, Mary, a very good point, again to close to the wood. I am sorry that this is going to be vague but I'm looking for Pamela Martin or Duggan married somebody called 'Siddy' surname unknown. It would have been 1960 - 1965 ish probably NSW. I have a brick wall on the entire Australian branch of my grandfathers brother (b c 1900) who emigrated there. Any help or suggestions gratefully received. Jim

Hi Girls, Many Thanks for your input. I have now found by trial and error the site is bdm.nsw etc. (Too close to the wood to see the tree!) Unfortunately it wasn't 1975 which would have been great for me but 1955 which is useless to me. Never mind, I'll keep banging away at this wall. Many Thanks again. Jim

Hi James, each state in Australia have different cut off years to do look ups. Try http://alldownunder(.)com/oz-k/government/australia-birth-death-marriage(.)htm remove brackets, they have links to each state records. Louisa

Hi All. Some while ago I found an internet site on Australian marriages ONLY up to 1975. Unfortunately, I now cannot remember what it was called. Does anybody know it at all and would you share it with me? Many Thanks, Jim
