This is them in 1861 Record Ann Matilda Levy Harriet abt 1858 Chatham, Kent, England Daughter Chatham Kent View Record Edward Levy Harriet abt 1850 Chatham, Kent, England Son Chatham Kent View Record Elizabeth Levy Harriet abt 1856 Chatham, Kent, England Daughter Chatham Kent View Record Harriet Levy abt 1822 Chatham, Kent, England Wife Chatham Kent View Record Harriet Levy Harriet abt 1852 Chatham, Kent, England Daughter Chatham Kent View Record John Levy Harriet abt 1854 Chatham, Kent, England Son Chatham Kent View Record Richard Levy Harriet abt 1860 Chatham, Kent, England Son Chatham Kent I have found Edward in 1871 until his death in 1897. I think I've found a marriage for daughter Harriet in 1876 and then found her in 1881. I also have Richard and possibly John in later censuses, but nothing for the family in 1871. I believe the father William Franklin (at work in 1861) died in 1865 and had thought that his wife died the following year, but now find that was a mistake. Can anyone else find them? Thanks Lynn

Duh! I think that I actually looked at that one and discounted it for some reason. What an idiot. Many thanks Elaine Lynn :-)

I've just realised why I had discounted this one, Edward Levy was 21 and already married & living with his wife elswhere. However, when I had a look at the image, it was poor, so Edward might actually be Richard, who would have been nearer the right age. Lynn

The Edward listed on the 1871 is aged 9 - so therefore a different Edward from the one born in 1850 If you enlarge the image it is quite clear.

Sorry Elaine, what I meant was that the Edward 9 on the 1871 census, might actually have been Richard. Lynn
